Body
When sized up vs. the Sedan, the Coupe’s dimensions are shorter in both height and length, giving it a sportier look and feel. The exterior design of the Coupe is available in eight distinct colors and is more sharply angulated to give it that sports car edge. A set of LED headlights and taillights project light out while a power moonroof lets it inside.
Interior
Despite the more compact design, the Coupe actually sports the same amount of first-row legroom and actually has more hip room in both rows of seats than the Sedan. A driver-centric setup puts everything within arm’s reach, even a center console custom fit to hold a tablet, a wireless phone charger, and a push-button electric parking brake.
Driver and passenger will enjoy heated seats while everyone on board will benefit from two cloth and two leather interior color combinations.
Performance
The Honda Civic Coupe can generate up to 174 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque with the available 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. All that zip doesn’t come at the expense of fuel efficiency, however, as the Coupe can turn in 31 MPG in the city and 41 MPG on the highway.
A six-speed transmission comes available in manual or as a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and is supported by a fully independent suspension system.
Technology
The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System does all the directional work for you so you can just grip the wheel and go. A built-in touchscreen display serves as your homebase for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and all of the music, messages, traffic, weather and other apps that come along for the ride. HondaLink® makes smartphone compatibility a breeze in the Coupe.
Safety
A Multi-Angle Rearview Camera lets you know what’s happening behind the Coupe while a small camera on the sideview mirror provides a live video feed of your blind spots. The available Honda Sensing® suite delivers such safety features as Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking and Road Departure Mitigation.
